BLACKLIGHT KING

10/10/18 SOLO LOS ANGELES ART OPENING

We have had the pleasure of witnessing his beautiful journey through his beginnings in our Los Angeles Drum & Bass Culture as inspiration & a place to showcase his artwork, to his full immersion 3D solo art show this past week in Downtown LA, complete with a full stage wrap and back drop.  We have a special appreciation & respect for the BLACKLIGHT KING as his medium ultraviolet reflective paint is a part of our family legacy through our ninjedi optic demolitions produced by SPECTRUMEGAMEDIA for LA Drum & Bass culture.  SPECTR his artwork, stage curations & 3D blacklight optic demolition installations are legendary.  Spectr has always been very encouraging his relationship with the Blacklight King has been no different.

“Electromagnetism” One of the four fundamental forces of the universe. Using ultra violet lights to illuminate his 3D fluorescent masterpieces, the Black Light King’s art is a spectacular visual treat for the eye and mind. Currently living in Los Angeles making a living as a graffiti artist. Many of the artists studio pieces reflect a variety of complex and metaphysical subjects that affect the human consciousness from a spiritual and at times, political level. Keeping the work alive and vibrant, the Black Light King expands on creative intuition by making the works invisible in fluorescent, yet dynamic in form to enhance the atmosphere of each environment.
